My name is Garrett, owner and founder of Bengals and Bullies! Bengals and Bullies is a family-based French Bulldog breeder located in Maryland. We are experienced breeders with over 28 years of backed-up genetics. We are proud of the health and genetics behind each puppy that leaves for their new homes. Our mission is to breed and raise beautiful, quality French Bulldog puppies & to ensure each of our pups goes to a happy, loving family! For that reason, we breed and sell our puppies solely as family pets. We currently have French Bulldog puppies for sale!

How can I reserve a puppy?

You can reserve a puppy by contacting us directly through email, call, or text and placing a deposit.

Do you provide health guarantees for your puppies?

Yes, we provide a 1- year written genetic health guarantee for all of our French Bulldog puppies.

What if i do not see the color/markings i am looking for?

Please reach out anyways! We have French Bulldog puppies year-round. If we do not have the puppy you are looking for on our website, we may be expecting one very soon.

How big do our Frenchies get full-grown?

This answer does vary by parents but the average weight of our full-grown Frenchies ranges from 20-25 pounds.

Do we health test our dogs?

As we have been breeding French Bulldogs for nearly 30 years, we have over 5 generations of backed-up genetics from a proven lineage. When we do introduce a new Dam or Sire from outside our proven lineage, we do perform necessary genetic testing.

How are our puppies socialized from 0-8 weeks old?

For the first 4 weeks of life, our puppies remain solely with their mother and litter mates to prevent stress and illness. After 4 weeks, they begin to become more active and are introduced to different toys and stimuli. From 6 weeks until they go to their forever home, they regularly socialize with other pets in our home and our young child. They also begin to play outdoors more regularly as they are more protected by their vaccinations by 6 weeks and up.

Are breathing problems common in our Frenchies?

Brachycephalic breeds, such as Pugs and Frenchies, do have a higher likelihood of breathing difficulty than longer-nosed breeds. With that in mind, we do not breed any parents with BOAS or stenotic nares to avoid passing breathing problems to our puppies.

Do we account for temperament when breeding?

Yes, we carefully select parents with the typical French Bulldog temperament — sweet, sociable, and loving.

Are our French Bulldogs certified?

Yes, all of our dogs are registered and certified with the American Kennel Club (AKC). We provide the limited (no breeding rights, family pets only) registration papers at time of pick-up.

What food do we introduce to our puppies?

We feed Royal Canin Puppy to all of our puppies.

What sets us, Bengals and Bullies, apart from other breeders?

First and foremost, EXPERIENCE. We have been raising French Bulldogs since 1996. We are the most experienced Frenchie breeders in Maryland. Secondly, we care for each of our puppies as our own. Our puppies live in our home with us from the day they are born until the day they are rehomed at 8 weeks--giving them a great start in socialization and basic manner training.

The Frenchie is a charmer with their beauty and brains. French Bulldogs are intelligent and well-tempered. They happily adapt to life with children and other animals. They do not require much outdoor and/or physical activity; a daily outdoor play session or short walk will suffice. The French Bulldog is the perfect city dog for these features as well as their compact size!

As far as size goes, Frenchies are relatively small to medium dogs. The weight of a Frenchie is typically between 20-25 pounds. The average height of the French Bulldog is between 11-13 inches (the range is based on genetics).
